 | Jennifer Olvera "L" Undergraduate: Junior
Major: Elementary Education, Child Development/Family Relations (Curriculum & Instruction)
Hometown: Payette, ID
I joined LTA because I saw the ladies as a family away from home. They were my support group and their strive of excellence and a strong focus on academics really stood out to me as what I wanted to be a part of. There are sisters all over the nation who are willing to help so I know I am never alone.

Mirna Lizeth Hurtado "O" Undergraduate: Senior
Major: Chemical & Materials Engineering
Hometown: Rupert, ID
I graduated from Minico High School in Rupert, Idaho and attended the College of Southern Idaho and later transferred to the University of Idaho to reach my goal of becoming an engineer. Within my first couple days in Moscow, I meet a group of girls who made me feel welcome and not so homesick. What do you know, these girls were the girls of Lambda Theta Alpha :-) It only took the first conversation with these girls to know that they were genuine about their friendship, this made me want to be apart of their organization. I took more and more interest into LTA as the semester progressed and I became part of the Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and became a sister in Spring 2008. I have no doubt I made the right decision to join Lambda Theta Alpha, I wouldn't have it ANY other way.

Florita Valadez "E" Undergraduate: Sophomore
Major: Foreign Language & Literature
Minor: Coaching
Hometown: Wilder, ID
I joined LTA because I saw how active and respected the ladies were on campus. Also not only were they all about business but I would see how united they were, they would truly act like sisters. That was the main reason why I decided to be part of this great organization.
