I joined LTA because I saw how active the sisters were on campus and in the community. When I first got to the University of Idaho I was a very shy person, joining the Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha helped me break out of my shelle and become more outgoing. I started making close bonds with a lot of the sisters and I saw how united they were and knew that was the type of sisterhood I wanted to be a part of. I love LTA and everything it represents and am very happy I am part of such an amazing and true sisterhood. Lambda Theta Alpha is my family away from home, I know this is a decision I will NEVER regret.

LTA is a professional sorority that focuses on academics, community work, and the rights for women. I picked it because of the major things they do and because of the stong unity they have with other sisters around the nation as well as love for them and of course respect to not only their sisters but other greeks.

I picked Lambda Theta Alpha because of the principles; which are Unity, Love, and Respect. I love these principles due to the fact that I've been taught these values my whole life by family and by my culture. I chose this sorority because I knew I would be able to share my culture within the sorority. I'm Native American from the Nez Perce Tribe and I am proud of who I am. I love this sorority because I am treated as an equal. I know that through this organization, I can be who I am without being ashamed.
